Search Language

The search-engine provides the phrasing of queries, which consists of logical expressions with the keywords AND, OR or NOT. You can group the expressions by parenthesis.

Some Examples:

Information Search

will find documents which includes one ore more of the words 'Information' or 'Search'.

Information OR Search

same as above.

Information AND Search

will find documents which includes the word 'Information' as well as the word 'Search'.

Information NOT Search

will find documents which includes the word 'Information' but not the word 'Search'.

(Information NOT Search) AND WAIS

will find documents which includes the word 'WAIS' and the word 'Information', but not the word 'Search'.

web*

will find documents which includes word beginning with 'web'.
